Mr Khoele hails from Koalabata, approximately 10km west of Lesotho’s capital, Maseru. His youth was full of music as he played the Mokhikha for personal amusement when involved in rodent hunting games. He learned to play Lesiba from his older brother and father when he was a teenager, and he carried his passion for this into his adult life.
