Vulani Maxwell Baloyi was born September 02th, 1979 in Malamulele, Limpopo province. He is a Pianist, Producer, Arranger, Lecturer and Performer. He profusely participated on a high school choir, which prompted an eagerness to pursue Music as career. He holds a National Diploma (jazz music) with Natal Technikon (Durban Institute of Technology) majoring on Jazz piano, further obtained B Prac Mus with University Of Kwa-Zulu Natal, majoring in performance and electro-acoustic.
Started Lecturing at Orchrim School of Music in Pretoria (2006), part time lectured University Of Pretoria (2012-2014), and is currently lecturing at Central Johannesburg College (2009 to date). His career continues to evolve, he was nominated as SAMA Judge on different categories (2017-2019). He is now involved in SAMRO Foundation indigenous music transcription project as a transcriber (2019).
He has performed under various bands stand such as Pops Mohamed, Sipho “hot sticks” Mabuse, Antonio Lyons, Nomhle, Femi Koya, Jeffy Maluleke to mention the few.
